This weekend was fun, exhausting, and an emotional roller coaster all in one. We started off Friday night having a date night in. We made bruschetta with sausage, sundried tomato and goat cheese pizza. We vegged out, watched movies, and were passed out by 9:30 pm.

Saturday morning, we were up by 7 am and the hubby spent most of the afternoon getting the oil changed in the car. You know you are getting old when you are happy to be up early on the weekends, so that you can get your "grownup" errands done...like getting the oil changed or cleaning the bathroom.

Then, we headed downtown to celebrate my sister's birthday with all of her friends. We had so much fun bar hopping, taking pictures and ending up at a well known legend in Atlanta.

Sunday morning is when the weekend turned into an emotional roller coaster. My sister woke up to one of her windows opened and her kitten nowhere to be found. We searched the whole apartment complex, walked around Buckhead, and practically hung from the windows trying to find her. But, she is still gone.

I think the worst feeling in the world is to see someone you love hurt and upset, and know there is nothing you can do about it. It breaks my heart.

Austin was the cutest, yet craziest cat that ever walked the planet. And I hope she comes home soon.

Now, lets move on to something less sad.

Saturday in Atlanta was beautiful and warm, but it was supposed to get a little chilly at night. So, I opted for my maxi skirt and paired it with a silk shirt to dress it up. Lastly, I added my leopard belt to mix patterns and add contrast.
